Hurricane Ike

Here are some pictures of the clean up going on in our backyard and neighborhood from damage received with Hurricane Ike. It was a mighty storm, one that Paul and I were glad to have missed. We were in Scottsdale, AZ on a pre- planned vacation at the time IKE came through. Our area received 100mph winds and 5 inches of rain the day after, so many people had tall pines and large oak trees fall on their homes, trees uprooted, fences down and then water damage with the rain. Power was out in our area for 24 hours to 5 days. Many people in Houston are still without power after 10+ days.
