It was a fun night getting together with my sisters! It's amazing that after so many years, we all live so close together!
My sister, Cathy and her husband, Nate have two stores at Santa's Town...a drive through Christmas light show-Texas Style. There are hayrides, a big open fire pit with staw bales to sit while a band plays, snow (soap bubbles) fall from the rooftop, an automated bull ride draws a crowd, Santa is there, BBQ, pony rides and a petting zoo and neat seasonal shops! They even have a large screen out by a fire pit to watch old Christmas movies. Last night the Moon was full-it was just cool enough to enjoy, but not cold. 5 days before they were building snow men in College Station-a first in 20 years! Anyway, here we are enjoying 'sister' time. Connie had a night off, so she and Tom were able to come out for the evening. We had a great time getting out of the city and enjoying the out of doors.
