Black Bear sightings in Skagway

Though Paul and I weren't lucky enough to spot any bears on our Alaska adventures, a fellow traveler has shared this picture with us! This was in Skagway-a quaint little town where the Yukon/White Rail Pass Railroad travels up into the mountains. We took the train up to the Summit, then rode bikes down. It was exhilarating-passing many glaciers and waterfalls-so beautiful!

The last day of our cruise, I left my camera in a restaurant on the ship-it has not turned up...so, I will rely on others to send me some pictures to share. I hope that eventually, my memory card, at least will turn up! The beauty of the Alaskan Frontier is remarkable!
